Halapa

A traditional Sri Lankan delicacy made from kurakkan flour and coconut. Halapa is made of Ragi Flour (kurakkan flour), grated coconuts mixed with honey or sugar. Halapa, goes as a snack with a cup of tea or a treat to keep your energy levels up. Since this sweet treat uses Ragi flour which is low in GI and kithul treacle, this is great after a quick workout to boost your energy levels for the remainder of the day.
