Areca Palm (Dypsis Lutescens)

Areca Palm (Scientific - Chrysalidocarpus Lutescens | Sin - පුවඟු) is one of the most widely used palms for bright interiors. It features feathery, arching fronds growing close together along the stems. Leaves are pinnate, ie feather shaped, each with up to 100 leaflets. These big, bold plants command attention.Its attractive nature has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit, which for a plant grown more commonly indoors than out.
