It belongs to the Bamboo family that is why its nickname is lucky bamboo.This houseplant is also most commonly known by the common name Lucky Bamboo but is also called good luck bamboo, lucky bamboo dracaena, dracaena bamboo and other combinations of these words.This plant is rather diminutive, with gold colour leaves are widely spaced along the upright stems, giving the plant an open, airy appearance.
