Lacy Tree Philodendron (Scientific - Philodendron Melinonii | Sin
- ෆිලෝඩෙන්ඩ්රන් මෙලිනෝනි) has impressive paddle-like leaves* and fat petioles that
can be reddish in colour. The petioles get a deeper colour as the light levels
increase. This plant is both terrestrial and epiphytic. An epiphytic species is
one capable of growing on the branch of a tree or climbing a tree in to better
collect sunlight. A fully grown specimen of Philodendron Melinonii can reach an
impressive sizes of 2.5m in diameter! Philodendron species are
known to be highly variable and not every leaf of every specimen will always
appear the same.
As a tropical plant, philodendron is particularly effective at helping the clean
