Cycas zeylanica is a tropical Non-flowering plant in the family Cycadaceae. It is a small tree. It has a disjunctive distribution, with the species occurring in Sri Lanka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The seeds are also used for medicinal and recreational purposes.
The taxa is a small evergreen tree with a large spreading crown, reaching 3m in height. Leaves are up to 200 cm long, green, glossy, pinnately compound with up to 100 leaflets.
