Red Palm (Scientific - Cyrtostachys Renda | Sin - රතු පුවඟු ) is a bright red, like lipstick, stem and leaf stalks. Mature trees can grow to a whopping 50 feet making that bright red trunk truly striking. This palm is seldom available and in very high demand for palm gardening and landscaping projects clustering, small to medium-sized palm reaching 7m high. Trunk is slender, up to 6cm thick. Leaves are pinnate, broad and arched up to 1.5m long. Petiole and bases are red and showy. Leaflets are long, narrow, stiff, and green on both sides.
