Fire Flash (Scientific - Heliconia Densiflora | Sin - හෙලිකෝනියා ඩෙන්සිෆ්ලෝරා) do well in full sun to part shade in sheltered locations. High winds can cause significant damage and weaken leaves to allow pathogens to enter. These plants like a light, well-drained soil that stays consistently moist. When kept outdoors during the spring and summer, the soil must not dry out from one watering to the next. When kept indoors during the autumn and winter months, reduce watering and take normal precautions against rotting roots.
